Sunday School: Our Sunday School program is for the entire family! We have classes for children, for youth and for adults. Sunday School begins the Sunday after Labor Day and continues through the year, ending the weekend after Memorial Day. Sunday School starts at 9:15 am. You can get a list of our adult classes in the monthly newsletter or check the list in the foyer on Sunday morning
MUG (Men Under God) is the men’s ministry at Word of Life. We meet each Saturday morning at 8 am for a prayer meeting and on the second Saturday of each month at 8 am for a prayer breakfast. We are done by 9 am so you will still make it home for your “honey-do” list! We often get together for work parties at the church and sometimes for work parties if someone needs a hand with a project. This ministry is open to all men and their sons. We also hold an annual MUG retreat each October at Tall Timber Ranch near Leavenworth, WA! This year the retreat will be held Oct 24-26. Our speaker is Pastor Jack Storry and the cost is $75
WMF (Women’s Ministries Fellowship) meets quarterly for special events to encourage and inspire women. The women participate in the national Women’s Ministries in their mission to encourage, equip and edify all women of the Church of the Lutheran Brethren for ministry, fellowship and service. There are opportunities for women’s prayer groups, Bible Studies and book clubs. Also, there is a District Women’s retreat where we join with other women from the Pacific Northwest and an annual Women’s Retreat for the women of Word of Life

For Children
C.H.A.M.P.S. (Children Having A Master Plan of Salvation) is our midweek children’s program that meets Wednesdays from 6:30-8:00 pm. Come to CHAMPS and discover Godly characteristics while you sing upbeat songs, play games, make crafts and learn from God’s Word! This program is for kids age 3 through the 5th grade!

Outreach
The Master’s Feast is a community service provided by Word of Life to help those in our community who would appreciate a hot meal and fellowship with friends around the table! Currently meals are served on the last Tuesdays of the month from 5:00-7:00 pm. We also keep a food pantry stocked to help stretch your food budget as well as a clothing closet filled with gently used clothing and basic toiletries. If you wish to donate to these ministries, you can drop off non-perishable foods and toiletries as well as gently used clothing to the church at any time
Summer Jubilee is a cooperative effort of the churches in Marysville to provide free school supplies for students, free haircuts before school starts and a whole day of fun that includes inflatables, concerts, giveaways, free food and snacks, and of course a presentation of the Good News that there is forgiveness, freedom and renewed life in Jesus Christ!
